Our story

The Strudel Lady came to life, when I decided a career change was necessary to avoid the endless commute into Sydney. I made my passion to cook and bake Austrian specialty dishes such as Goulash or traditional Viennese Pork Roast as well as iconic cakes and strudels such as Sachertorte or Viennese Apple Strudel my business.

In addition to traditional recipes, many of whom are influenced by my own family’s preferences, I also develop my own recipes and I am always delighted to try new strudel flavours and textures.

Our ingredients

We cook all dishes and bake all desserts from scratch. As resident of the beautiful Southern Highlands I also aim to support other local businesses and source all my produce via local shops or out of my own garden.
